Welcome to The Hero 🗞️. This is approximately a 2.5-minute read.
📛 Why you SHOULDN’T send cold emails from your main domain
🌐 The exact domain setup to scale
🔥 The 5-step playbook to build your outbound engine
TL;DR
✔ Never send cold recruiting emails from your main domain
✔ Buy 3-4 secondary domains and build 5-10 inboxes
✔ Two week warming period to avoid spam triggers
✔ Authenticate SPF, DKIM, DMARC
🚨 The Problem
At Super Recruiter, we believe outbound is king (or queen) 🙂
But to do it right, you need proper configuration and infrastructure.
One bad outbound campaign can burn your company’s primary email domain - and it happens every day.
Don’t be one of them. It’s 100% avoidable.
The solution isn’t complicated, but it is specific.
We’ve set up hundreds of domains and email accounts and run thousands of outbound campaigns -
And through that process, we’ve built a proven, repeatable system that protects your core domain while letting you scale outbound safely and effectively.

The full breakdown is just below - don’t miss it! 😉

❌ Never Send Cold Recruiting Emails From Your Main Domain
Cold email + yourcompany.com = blacklisted.
You need secondary hiring domains - cheap, clean, and insulated from your main brand.
Examples:
Buy 2–3 domains from platforms like:
Pro tip: Redirect each hiring domain to your main website so anyone who searches it lands on your primary site.
🏗️ How To Build Your Outbound Engine
Step 1) Buy 3-5 Secondary Domains
They don’t need to be clever.
They need to be:
available
simple
close to your brand
Redirect each one to your main site using your domain management console (i.e., admin.google.com).

Step 2) Create 3 Mailboxes Per Domain
Inside Google Admin (or your email host):
Create 3 inboxes per domain:
firstname@domain
firstname.lastname@domain
initials@domain

Your goal: 9 total sendable mailboxes.
Why?
Because you don’t want to send 100+ emails/day from one inbox -
You want 20-30 emails/day from each inbox.
This will preserve your domain health and deliverability.
Step 3) Connect Everything to Your Sending Platform
Add your mailboxes
Enter your sending limits
This becomes your command center for campaigns, engagement, and metrics.
We use Instantly but there are many others.
Step 4) Warm Up Your Inboxes (Non-Negotiable)
If you skip this step, your emails will hit spam.
Warm-up schedule:
Week 1: 5 —> 10 emails/day
Week 2: 10 —> 120 emails/day
Week 3: You’re ready
It’s SUPER important to do this step (and allocate the appropriate time).
This has a major effect on your deliverability.
5️⃣ Authenticate Everything (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
This is the TSA PreCheck for email deliverability.

You MUST configure:
Use MxToolbox to test if everything is clean.
If these aren’t set up, you’re going straight to spam.

🧩 To Sum It Up:
Good outbound isn’t only about clever copy - it’s about clean infrastructure.
The teams that invest in domains, warm-ups, and authentication get more replies -
The teams that skip those steps get flagged, blocked and think outbound doesn’t work.
Your deliverability is your talent pipeline - treat it accordingly.
😎 And To Wrap It Up…
Bad domains wreck candidate flow.
But a good infrastructure prints hires.
